Visit to EDALE along with the 4th Burton.
Earlier this year a group of our Scouts went on a weekend trip to Edale along with 4th Burton Scouts. Why 4th Burton you say? Well when our illustrious GSL, Ray Ban was a lad he was a member of 4th Burton. A fair amount of water has flowed under the bridge since then but Ray kept up his contacts with his old group.

Yes yes I know it’s your bag but this is how you do it
Bag packing Christmas 2008
Once again 3rd Lymm Scout Group carried out Bag Packing over a 12 hour period at Morrison’s Supermarket in Stockton Heath on 20th January 2008 and raised on the day the magnificent sum of £1,802, 3 brass washers, 2 buttons and a half eaten sticky Toffee.
2 other Scout Groups helped out for a few hours and were paid the sum of £300 for their efforts, so 3rd Lymm Scout Group raised a Grand Total of £1,500 this was later supplemented by a generous donation of £750 from Barclays Bank Charity fund, hence 3rd Lymm was able to add an overall Total of £2,250 to our New HQ Building
