Welcome to 3rd Lymm Scout Group
Established in 1945, and based in the heart of Lymm at Maple Lodge, our purpose built headquarters, 3rd Lymm Scout Group serves young people aged 6 to 14. Everyone is welcome and we invite volunteers to come and lend a hand to experience what the scouting movement is all about.
Membership
Membership for young people is open to everyone, though places in all sections are limited. We operate a waiting list for all sections so get in touch if you want to secure a place.
Beavers
6 - 8 yearsWe have two Beaver Colonies who are excited to take on new challenges and have lots of fun!
Cubs
8 - 10½ yearsOur two Cub Packs are adventurous and ready to discover the world around them.
Scouts
10½ - 14 yearsThe Scout Troop is ready to take on the challenge of changing the world!
Explorers
14 - 18 yearsMerlin Explorers (part of the Warrington East District ESU) are based at Maple Lodge.
Volunteer
Scouting is run by volunteers - adults who give up a small amount of time each week to provide amazing opportunities for young people. We're always looking for enthusiastic people to lend a hand - find out what volunteering could mean for you.
Learn new skills
Learn to climb, kayak or lead an expedition. With opportunities for training volunteering with 3rd Lymm is a great way to get outdoors and learn a new skill.
Be part of a team
Join a team of like minded volunteers for face to face socialisation. We're an enthusiastic group of people committed to providing opportunities for young people in Lymm, and having fun at the same time.
Give back to the community
