Membership
3rd Lymm Scout Group is open to all young people aged between 6 and 14. Due to the popularity of the group we may need to place young people on our waiting list before a place is available, but our goal is to make scouting available to as many young people as possible.
Waiting list
The earlier a child's name is added and the greater the offer of support, the greater the chance of a place being offered. We have children aged from 1 upwards on our waiting list!
We restrict the numbers in each section to ensure scouting is safe, interesting and above all - fun for all involved (parents/leaders included).
A parent run group
3rd Lymm is run by volunteers, most of whom are parents of our young people.
The success of the group depends on everyone playing their part. We ask all parents and carers who are looking for a place at 3rd Lymm to consider how they could consider how they can contribute to the running of the group.
Maple Lodge
Maple Lodge is our purpose built headquarters located just off Pepper Street in the heart of Lymm.
Upkeep of the building is the responsibility of volunteers - if you don't want to take on a child facing role, maybe you could help with the upkeep of our facilities!
